Short, because the site does almost nothing.
What happens to the text you type
Nothing leaves your device. The conversion runs in your browser using JavaScript that was downloaded with the page. There is no server-side component, no API and no logging of input, because the site is a set of static files on a CDN.
What is stored on your device
Two things in your browser's local storage, both set by this site: the styles you marked as favourites, and the last text you typed, so the page looks the same when you come back. Neither leaves your device. Clearing site data in your browser removes them.
Google Analytics additionally sets its own cookies, described below.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure how many people visit and which pages they use. It is the only third-party service loaded on the site.
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and sends Google information about your visit: the pages you view, roughly where you are (derived from your IP address, which Google does not store in full), and basic details of your device, browser and language. Google acts as a data processor for this site, and processing may take place on servers outside the European Union. It is used for audience measurement only. No advertising profile is built from it here, and the text you type into the generator is never sent anywhere, because the conversion happens entirely in your browser.
If you would rather not be measured, you can installGoogle's official opt-out browser add-on, enable your browser's tracking protection, or block the domaingoogletagmanager.com. None of that affects how the generator works, since the tool itself needs no scripts from Google.
Advertising
No advertising is served at the time of writing. If display advertising is added, this page will be updated first to name the provider and describe what it collects.
Your rights
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct and erase personal data relating to you, to object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. In France that is theCNIL.
In practice the only personal data connected with this site is what Google Analytics collects. Google provides its own controls for that, and the opt-out above stops the collection at source. Everything else stays in your browser, under your control.
